This year is the year of over-accessorizing in every single way – bright coloured bags, chunky earrings, bold necklaces, patterned masks, funky hair clips, tons of rings, and of course, hats. Perhaps this is due to the fact that we’ve been locked up for SO long, all of us fashionistas are just dying to show off everything we’ve purchased over the past year and we’re ready to show it ALL. Hats are and always have been a bigggg weakness of mine. Me at 6 months old for reference:

Now I don’t wanna hear the whole “but I’m not a hat person”. Everyone is a hat person! You just have to find the right hat for you. My number one piece of advice – make sure it fits!! I find this is one reason why people may have had bad past experiences with hats is because they don’t fit properly. A good fitting hat is like a good fitting bra – it makes the world of a difference. All hats fit differently so it’s key to try them on and make sure you like the look.

Lucky for all of us, there are tons of super duper cute hats on trend this season for us to try, explore, and style. And also lucky for us, hats are the only thing that can hide our hair that hasn’t been coloured since last year. 🙃 I have paired each of these trendy hats with an outfit that I would totally wear it with.
