The Versatility of Cowboy Boots

No, they are not just for The Wild Wild West. How to style one of the trendiest boots this spring season.

Yeeeeeehaaaaaw! 🤠 I’m sure this is the phrase you were saying in your head when you read the title of this blog, right? I mean, it’s not uncommon thing to associate cowboy boots with. Cowboys wear cowboy boots, therefore you think “yeehaw” – it’s a simple equation, really. However, I’m here to tell you that cowboy boots are soooo much more than this western-inherited phrase.

I’m going to Nashville on Friday (SO EXCITED) and I realized how much I love cowboy boots. They are SO HOT this season. Like legitimately on fire 🔥. The reason they are so hot is because of how versatile they are. Yes, they can of course be worn the traditional western way like we all know and love, but they can also be worn with almost every other piece in your wardrobe. Think I’m crazy? Take a look at what I mean:

Gelso Oversized Blazer by The Frankie Shop

Cropped Reverse Racer Tank by Kotn

Dad Jean by Levi’s

Dagget Boot by Jeffrey Campbell

Outta Love Sunglasses by Le Specs

The Oxford Shirt by Uncle Studios

Fits Everybody Scoop Neck Bra by Skims

TNA Cargo 3” Short by Aritzia

West Boot by Steve Madden

Logo-Embroidered Baseball Cap by Ganni

Tie-Detail Dress by H&M

Small Kaia Bag by Saint Laurent

Brayden Western Boot by Free People

Aviator Total Black RB3025 by Ray-Ban

Adding cowboy boots to your outfit immediately gives it that “cool girl” aesthetic. Take an oversized blazer, cropped white tank, straight leg jeans, and some sunnies. You could wear some dad sneakers which would look chic AF, but adding a pair of cowboy boots is just straight up cooool. I’m so into this look.

I also love pairing cowboy boots with skirts and dresses, especially midi & maxi lengths. Again, you could wear a cute pair of flip flops for a very casual look, but cowboy boots are way more fun. You really can’t go wrong with the colour of cowboy boots to be honest. However, if you’re just starting out I would suggest a nice black or chocolate brown pair. These will go with just about everything in your closet.

So get up on your horse, and let’s giddy up! If this blog didn’t inspire you to get yourself a pair of boots, be prepared to see manyyy more outfits of me styling cowboy boots over the course of this weekend to give you some more ideas.

Yeehaw! 👢

Until next hump day…

Peace & love!
