2022 🤝 vests. One of this year’s hottest trends are vests. And I mean vests of allllll kinds – knit vests, puffer vests, suit vests, linen vests, polo vests, sweater vests, vegan leather vests, and cropped vests. Basically anything that has no sleeves and has the ability to be layered with other pieces in your wardrobe. 

The reason why vests are the best is because of their versatility. You can wear them layered with a t-shirt, turtleneck, or tank, under a jacket, or my personal fav… on their own. You really can’t go wrong with a vest, especially a neutral colour, as it can seriously be worn all year long. Dress em’ up or dress em’ down, vests are IT. 

Take a look at some ways that I would style vests this summer: 

A vest really is such a vibe and can be worn 5785829100384 different ways. For the summer, I love the look of a knit vest paired with low rise jeans or a mini skirt. A vest with either one button done up or a small tie in the middle is a super trendy look right now. Showing a little skin is always in during the summer months! 

I also loveeee the look of mixing and matching suiting. Take a fitted suit vest and pair it with a blazer and trousers or shorts, finished with a nice chunky heel – chef’s kiss 🤌🏻. So cute paired all together, but also when it gets hot, you can take the blazer off and you look just as chic. I’m also completely obsessed with sweater vests anytime of year. Layered with a little white tee in the spring, a turtleneck in the fall, a knit sweater in the winter, and on its own in the summer. You need… trust!
